This former 20th century theatre was the first French location for the screening of "Alice in Wonderland". After being an established restaurant for 30 years, Pavillon Rive Gauche has since undergone a 16 month reconstruction under the direction of Martel Architecture DPLG and in collaboration with Desjeux Delaye Interior Architects.
A unique venue of 420 m2 has been created, based on the historical infrastructure from the time the location was a cinema. The historical building facade was revoted under the supervision of the Architects de Batiements de France and reflects the architecture of the Latin Quarter from the 16th century. Upon entering Pavillon Rive Gauche, you are invited to discover a remodelled industrial ceiling structure, the reconstructed original staircase, and a balcony, which overlooks the lower level of a 200m2 open space, truly unique for Paris these days.
Unique and atypical due to its large volumes and designed by MR Agency, Pavillon Rive Gauche is a true cultural center open to a wide range of artistic and cultural occasions: exhibitions, vernissages, parades, showrooms, trade fairs or private events.
